Steve Reed is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of HDT Bio Corp. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Cornell University and a Research Professor of Pathobiology at the University of Washington. He has served on several review committees and is a member of the Vaccine Development Steering Committee of the World Health Organization.
Dr. Reed received a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Montana. He worked in Brazil and joined Cornell University as Assistant Professor of Medicine. He founded IDRI where he received over $100 million in grants to develop vaccines. He co-founded and served as Chief Scientific Officer at Corixa Corporation, founded Dharma Therapeutics, and also founded Immune Design Corp.
Dr. Reed’s research focuses on vaccines and diagnostics for infectious diseases and cancer. He has published over 375 original publications, 35 book chapters and reviews, and has 105 issued patents.
