Janaki Veeraraghavan, Ph.D.

Dr. Veeraraghavan is a senior scientist in the Center for Devices and Radiologic Health at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. She has extensive preclinical research experience in translational development of antibody therapeutics, ranging from lead development, target validation and in vitro assay development. She has expertise in design and development of mechanism of action studies and identification of biomarkers and their immunohistochemical analysis in translational models in oncology and neurology diseases. Her skills include quantitative image analysis, flow cytometry and functional assay development.
Dr. Veeraraghaven received her M.Sc. in biochemistry from Hyderabad University and her Ph.D. In biochemistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
