Allison Leahy, MD

Dr. Leahy is a fellow in the Pediatric Cancer Immunotherapy/Bone Marrow Transplant Fellowship Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is a recent alumna of the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Training (PHEOT) Program managed by the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE), and the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She previously did research on the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into routine clinical care of adult cancer patients. She plans to extend this to the pediatric population, where there is currently no integrated system of pediatric PROs, or standardized inclusion of PROs in oncologic treatment trials.

Dr. Leahy completed her internship and residency at CHOP after receiving her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate College of Medicine, a master’s degree in biological science from Hunter College, and a bachelor’s degree in Russian language with a minor in chemistry from Bowdoin College.
