Steven Lemery, MD

Dr. Lemery is the Associate Director of the Division of Oncology Products 2 within the Office of Hematology and Oncology Products in CDER/FDA. In addition to duties regarding general drug development for patients with cancer, Dr. Lemery has also focused on tissue-agnostic development and biosimilar development. Prior to assuming the role of Associate Director, he served as the Team Leader (Lead Medical Officer) for the gastrointestinal malignancies team.

Dr. Lemery completed his clinical training in hematology and medical oncology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Lemery also graduated with a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Research degree awarded by the Duke University School of Medicine (joint NIH/Duke program).
