Danielle Leach is the Chief of Community & Government Relations at the National Brain Tumor Society. Danielle brings outstanding experience, leadership, and a track record of accomplishment to NBTS from more than two decades working in healthcare and cancer patient advocacy. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Advocacy and Government Relations at St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Previously, she held leadership positions at the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, and Strang Cancer Prevention Center. Additionally, she currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer, as a member of the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) National Council of Research Advocates, and as a member of the NCI’s Pediatric and Adolescent Solid Tumor Steering Committee. She served on Vice President Biden’s Cancer Moonshot, as part of the Pediatric Cancer Working Group, and was recognized in 2018 with the ASCO Partners in Progress award and the Rare Disease Legislative Advocates Rare Voice Award.
