Eric A. Klein, MD is the Emeritus Andrew C. Novick Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute and Lerner College of Medicine of the Cleveland Clinic. He joined the staff of the Cleveland Clinic in 1989 and served as a member of the Department of Cancer Biology of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, the Taussig Cancer Institute, and the Genitourinary Malignancies Program in the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Klein was a Fellow in the Distinguished Careers Institute at Stanford University in 2022.

Dr. Klein’s clinical and research interests cover all stages of prostate cancer with a focus on genomics and clinical trials. Most recently his work has focused on the clinical development of multicancer early detection tests. He joined GRAIL as a distinguished scientist in 2023.
