Dr. Hosseini is a scientist in the Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Department at Genentech. His work focuses on development of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models and preclinical/translation PKPD characterization of biologics, T-cell dependent bispecifics and cancer vaccines. He received his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where he worked on molecular-detailed multi-scale computational models of HIV infection to better understand HIV pathogenesis and design stem-cell based anti-HIV therapies. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, and was named a Siebel Scholar in 2015.
He received his B.S. in chemistry and his Ph.D. in pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
