Dr. Popa McKiver is director of oncology global development for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS). Prior to joining BMS, she was associate medical director of clinical science for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, and before that was director of clinical affairs for Biovest International/Accentia Biopharmaceuticals.
Dr. Popa McKiver received her M.D. from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, a master’s of gerontological studies from Miami University in Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Aging Studies from the University of South Florida. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at a large number of meetings national and internationally.
