Nicole Davarpanah, MD, JD

Nicole Davarpanah, MD, JD, is an Associate Medical Director at Genentech, where she serves as a disease area expert in GU malignancies, designing and conducting trials in bladder cancer.

Nicole obtained a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She subsequently continued her medical training in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and joined the medical faculty there for 5 years prior to completing her fellowship in Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, where her research focused on immunotherapy combinations in bladder cancer.

Nicole has also done extensive work in health care policy and patent law, working as a national speaker and advisor to medical centers and corporations to expand health care access and reduce burden and cost to patients.
