Jacques Mascaro is a Regulatory Affairs executive with more than 30 years of experience with several biopharmaceutical companies, in multiple countries. He is currently the Senior Vice-President for Oncology Regulatory Science, Strategy and Excellence at AstraZeneca and has been in the role since 2020. He is a trained Pharmacist and Biologist; earning a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Aix-Marseille II, France. In addition, he has a Post-Doctorate Diploma of Superior Specialised Studies in Clinical Pharmacy and received an MBA from the Open University Business School, UK. He also received a Master of Music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. His experience covers Regulatory Affairs and other R&D functions like Clinical Development, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, and CMC, in Oncology, Neurology, and Immunology.
